iAssociate 2 Review – Word Association at Its Best
Shoot’em up games that test your reflexes and your hand to eye coordination are great, but sometimes you want something that puts your brain to the test as well. Sometimes you want to get a game that excites you by putting your brain to work, not by pitting you against waves and waves of enemies.
A game that will give your brain a workout is the TicBits-developed iAssociate 2, the successor to the brilliant, incredibly addictive, and amazingly entertaining word-association game iAssociate. If you are already familiar with iAssociate, then you are very well advised to get iAssociate 2. It’s has new features, it is more challenging, it is generally better than the original.
If you are not familiar with iAssociate, let me put things in perspective for you. As I mentioned above, this is a word association game – an unbelievably good word game at that. What you have to do is use your brain to figure you the words associated with a given word. For example, you have to find out what words re associated with “breakfast” (see the video down at the bottom).
You start with one word and uncover more and more associated words. When you get stuck, you can get a hint to get you moving again. If that isn’t enough, you can ask for help via popular social networking site Facebook. But if you don’t get stuck and you quickly uncover the associated words, you will earn speed medals.
iAssociate is available for purchase in the App Store for the awesome price of free. The HD version, iAssociate 2 HD is $2.99, but if you don’t want to part with your money you can get iAssociate 2 HD Lite which is free.
As someone who works with words all day long, I found iAssociate 2 to be incredibly entertaining.
